Our company

We are a legally autonomous company within the ThyssenKrupp Group, a conglomerate of manufacturing and service companies with total sales of around 40.6 billion euros (fiscal 2008/2009) and presently about 187.495 employees worldwide. The sales of ThyssenKrupp Metallurgie totalled 1.2 billion euros in the same period.

Our global activities concentrate on trade in and distribution of alloys and metals for the steelmaking and chemical industries. Due to our many decades of experience and sound knowledge of the market, we play a significant role in supplying these industrial sectors with the products they need and are at the same time an important partner for leading raw material suppliers around the world.

In our function as an important link between the processing industry and raw material suppliers we bring the requirements and wishes of our customers and the possibilities of the raw material suppliers to a common denominator, thereby optimising the supply chain. Insodoing we practice continuous quality surveillance to ensure the reliability of raw material supplies and to achieve an optimal price/performance ratio for our customers.
